1) la Ciudad no pudo cumplir con el llamado “Día Contra la Violencia de la Comunidad” que declaró el 13 de octubre de 2014 para marcar la muerte de Limón … el Jefe explicó que ella y el alcalde simplemente “olvidaron”, aunque está claro que tratan intencionadamente de sepultar la memoria de Alfonso;
2) el fracaso de la policía de Oxnard de adoptar cámaras al cuerpo de los policías, exigido por la familia en la parte del acuerdo entre la familia con OPD;
3) los juegos del juego de la Ciudad sobre la colocación de la placa conmemorativa que conmemora a Alfonso;

On the 3-year anniversary of Alfonso Limon Jr.’s death (VIDEO HERE) at the hands of the Oxnard Police Department there was a tense confrontation between Alfonso’s mother Alejandra and the Chief of the OPD, Chief Jeri Williams. The confrontation began due to a number of reasons:

1) the City failed to mark the so-called “Community Safety and Anti-Violence Day” it declared last October 13, 2014 to mark Limon’s death … the Chief explained that she and the Mayor simply “forgot”, although it is clear that they are intentionally trying to bury the memory of Alfonso. (NOTE: apparently the City rushed to release a last-minute statement honoring the day after the scenes shown in the video) ;
2) the Oxnard Police failure to adopt body cameras, as demanded by the family in the non-monetary portion of their settlement with OPD ;
3) the City playing games over the placement of the memorial plaque commemorating Alfonso;
4) the fact that the killer cops still patrol Oxnard’s streets despite their proven negligence and brutality that claimed Alfonso’s life. The friends, family, and supporters of Alfonso later disrupted the City Council meeting to serve an additional reminder that Alfonso Limon Jr. will never be forgotten.

No justice, no peace!
